The roof having been inspected within the last 5 years 
by a qualified thatcher

Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors on all floors
Fire fighting equipment must be present in the property

Electrics

The electrics having been tested within the last 5 years 
by a qualified electrician

Heating

Do you have open fires, wood burning stoves, gas or multi fuel  burning appliances, what type are they and when were they installed

Thatch Depth

Under 1m 
Between 1 and 2m 
or more than 2m

Chimneys

If in use, Chimneys must be swept 
at least once a year  and professionally lined and insulated

Fire Fighting

What fire fighting equipment is present at the property and 
which floors are they on

Ridge Height

How high is the top of the chimney above the ridge? 
Under 1m - Between 1 and 1.8m or more than 1.8m
