A C Insurance was founded in 1988 by Albert Peacock and Cynthia Pietrantonio and suceeded by Cynthia's son Franco, who ran the company for many years.
Trading for over 35 years, A C Insurance remains an independent insurance broker and a family run business.
The company is now under the ownership of long serving employees; Warren & Stephanie Lawler. Together, along with their trusted staff, they ensure that all clients continue to receive a professional, friendly and customer focused service - from our centrally based office in Nottingham.
Collectively our staff have over 100 years of insurance expertise, so you can feel confident that your insurance requirements are carefully considered and in good hands.
We are not a "computer says no" type of insurance broker and will always look outside of the box for all clients and treat each case on its own merits, we embrace new technology backed up by good old fashioned underwriting.

Stephanie Lawler
Director
Held various roles within the insurance industry for over 20 years
Been with A C Insurance for more than 16 years and is part of the furniture, she runs the office like a well oiled machine. She enjoys days out and holidays with her family and nights out with friends (and wine!) She loves music and has been a member of Nottingham University Choir for many years.She also loves playing the piano and guitar.
Warren Lawler
Director
Been in the insurance industry for over 15 years
Big Nottingham Forest fan, which leads to healthy banter in the office. Loves all sport but hung his own boots up many years ago. Enjoys days out with the wife and 2 young children.
Lucy Atkin
Senior Account Handler
Wealth of experience with over 35 years in the industry
Has played hockey for a local team for many years and
is a regular visitor to the David Lloyd gym.
Enjoys socialising with friends and family .
Sarah Doherty
Account Handler
A veteran of some 20 years within the insurance industry.
Having cut her teeth with industry giants such as Allianz.
Sarah took a break from work to concentrate on family life, returning to AC Insurance in 2020, where she has since thrived.
She enjoys keeping fit, having completed numerous long distance runs whilst raising money for charity, walking the dog and spending time with family.
Kim Davies
Account Handler
Wealth of experience with over 35 years with Swintons.
Loves family holidays and walks with the dog,
enjoys socialising with friends and family.
Kim's current goal is to try and visit all of the Piers in the UK.
